An almost traditional diamond engagement ring shape but with a twist, the 'stone' is hand-crafted from a sand-cast piece of shibuichi. Shibuichi is a Japanese alloy of silver and copper, much like rose gold, the copper gives the silver a beautiful pinkish gold lustre, almost like a champaign colour. Entirely hand fabricated and inspired by the idea of searching and the kinds of things we find in layers in the ground that connect us to our ancestors, this ring speaks of connection and preciousness.
